Gas prices are sky-high, parking rates are increasing, and commuting by car is getting more expensive every day.
Most people immediately think of the direct costs of driving: purchasing and maintaining a car, paying for gas and oil, insurance, registration and parking.
Further from their mind are other costs associated with automobiles such as road construction and maintenance that are paid for less directly, via taxes and fees.

Find Current Gas Prices
Plan your trip using approximate gas costs. Locate a local gas station with cheap prices or use AAA for average national gas prices.

Calculate Your Trip Cost
Divide sum Your Trip Length by average MPG. Then Multiply the total by Current Gas Price. This will give you an excellent idea of how much you will spend on gas during your car trip.
